Faculty Advisor
F. Michael Hoffmann, PhD.

Dr. F. Michael Hoffmann is the faculty advisor for the facility and group leader for the Experimental Therapeutics section of the UWCCC.

Resource Director
Noël R. Peters, M.S.

The facility is managed by a master's level instrumentation specialist, Noël Peters. Noël has extensive experience in high-throughput screening, laboratory robotics, and chemical genetics research. She is responsible for maintaining the facility and compound collections, assisting researchers in screening, data management, and facilitating investigators using the facility.

Research Specialist
Lane R. Milde, B.S

Lane R. Milde is the research specialist at the Small Molecule Screening Facility. Lane has several years research experience at the University of Wisconsin prior to joining the SMSF in 2006. Lane is responsible for assisting in all aspects of operations at the SMSF

Post-Doctoral Research Associate
Qiuping Yuan, PhD

Dr.Qiuping Yuan is post-doctoral research associate and splits her time between the SMSF and Hoffmann lab. She is responsible for assay development and has generated several new services for the screening facility.

Student Researchers:

Betsy Miazga, B.S

Betsy Miazga is a PharmD student at the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy. She spent 3 of her undergraduate years working with the Small Molecule Screening Facility.

Jackie Wolfe

Jackie Wolfe is a third year PharmD student at University of Wisconsin. She helps maintain cell culture operations at the SMSF.

Michael Alexander

Michael Alexander is recent addition to the staff at the Small Molecule Screening Facility. He is an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin with a major in biomedical engeneering.
